Finders Keepers (OPEN)

Opening the door to her room, Seraphina made her way out into the Winter dorm lounge, an area for students to hang out, or whatever those weirdos enjoyed doing. She certainly didn't want to spend time in the commons area, but his frantic jumping around and chewing on everything told her that Romeo was in need of a change of scenery and she needed to get her reading done. In one of her hands was a metal parrot play stand and in the other was a book, and behind her, Romeo waddled out of the room, following her as a duckling would with their parents. Setting down the stand near the corner of the room next to a couch-like chair, the large bird was quick to fly up to the top of it and began gnawing on the seed treat she'd put in the bowl, which sat on the very top of the stand, along with some plastic children's keys and a wood toy dangling off either side.

Sitting down into the chair, she stole a glance at him before letting out a huff and opening her book. "Hope you're happy now..." she mumbled.

"Happy Romeo!" he cawed, beating his wings up and down a couple of times before going back to playing with the toys.

Footsteps resounded as Felix reached the top floor of the dorms, letting the near-empty cup of coffee slurp. He made his way into the common area, eyes locked on his book on anatomy. Walking past Seraphina, he stopped by the trash and dropped the empty cup into the trashcan without a second glance. He poked around the cabinets for a moment and pulled out a Keurig cup into the Keurig machine and let it run. He blinked up at the sound of something rattling, and spotted the rich bitch from a week or so ago. "Oh, Marie Antoinette. How unfortunate. You are in my house." He let out a sigh, and slid a mug under the Keurig just as it began to dispense.

Having been concentrating on her book while Romeo played around on his stand, Seraphina almost didn't hear the sound of someone entering the room. Not moving a muscle in her body except for her eyes, she looked up to see who it was and low and behold, it was none other than "Mr. Cool Guy." Letting out an audible sigh as he approached, she didn't think that he'd bother to talk with her but he just had to open his mouth.

"Hm, I suppose I am. How unfortunate..." she sighed, rolling her eyes as she flipped a page of the book. "The Great Gatsby;" it wasn't exactly an exciting book nor did she have any interest in reading about other's pathetic lives and woes, but she had to finish it before the due date. Turning her amber gaze back to the pages bellow, she tried her best to get back to concentrating and should've been able to focus... if people would just leave her alone, but the universe must have hated her. Of course, she couldn't blame it, seeing as though she was certainly someone to easily hate.

"Go away! Go away!" Romeo yelled from his perch, his long black crest standing on end as he fanned his wings back and forth.
